The Merchandiser Floater works independently in the Hallmark departments of assigned retail stores, serving as the face of Hallmark while building relationships with store teams and maintaining product presentation and inventory. The role includes day-to-day merchandising, seasonal holiday support, department resets and installations, and helping other merchandisers in their territories as needed. Work takes place on retail selling floors and in back stockrooms, with occasional work involving other companies’ products in serviced stores. This is a part-time position averaging up to 8 hours per week, with a variable work-week schedule. Availability before and after major holidays is required and may include weekends; additional days or extended hours may be needed around holidays. The position may also require support for seasonal changeovers, installations, inventory work, and department resets, which can involve evenings or weekends. Hallmark provides paid hands-on and virtual training. Starting pay is $16.00–$18.00 per hour, depending on skills and experience; eligible employees receive annual pay increases. Part-time employees working fewer than 30 hours have access to voluntary benefits, including dental, vision, critical illness, accident insurance, hospital indemnity, and minimum essential coverage for preventive care.
