About The Position

The Merchandise Shipping/Receiving Associate supports store operations by handling shipping, receiving, inventory, order preparation, and customer service activities. The role includes processing invoices and returns, receiving replenishment shipments, maintaining stock and sales literature, preparing shipments and store transfers, and completing related paperwork. The associate also supports Will Call, stocks the sales floor, organizes the warehouse, assists with physical inventory, and helps maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Requirements

• Previous shipping, receiving, or inventory experience.
• Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move more than 75 pounds with assistance.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently without close supervision, while maintaining a team mentality.
• Ability to learn quickly and demonstrated multitasking capabilities.
• Strong work ethic and a get-the-job-done approach while maintaining high business ethical standards.

Nice To Haves

• Previous warehouse or merchandising experience.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organization, time-management, and basic math skills.
• Previous customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Complete invoices and process returns.
• Receive and process replenishment shipments.
• Maintain store stock, sales literature, and event displays.
• Conduct inventory checks and assist with physical inventory.
• Prepare and ship orders and store transfers, completing associated paperwork accurately.
• Maintain and support Will Call.
• Stock the sales floor to enhance the customer sales experience.
• Organize the warehouse so products are easy to locate.
• Ensure a clean and safe work environment.
• Provide exceptional service to internal and external customers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
