About The Position

ADI is North America’s leading wholesale distributor of security and low voltage products. The Merchandise Shipping/Receiving Associate supports store operations through shipping and receiving, inventory work, order fulfillment, and maintaining the store and warehouse. The role contributes to a clean, safe, organized environment and provides service to internal and external customers.

Requirements

• Previous shipping, receiving, or inventory experience.
• Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move more than 75 pounds with assistance.
• Self-motivated, able to work independently without close supervision, and able to work as part of a team.
• Ability to learn quickly and demonstrated ability to multitask.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to do what it takes to get the job done while maintaining high business ethical standards.

Nice To Haves

• Previous warehouse or merchandising experience.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organization, time-management, and basic math skills.
• Previous customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Complete invoices and process returns.
• Receive and process replenishment shipments.
• Maintain store stock, sales literature, and event displays.
• Conduct inventory checks and assist with the physical inventory process.
• Prepare and ship orders and store transfers, and accurately complete associated paperwork.
• Maintain and support Will Call Stock sales floor to enhance customers’ sales experience.
• Organize the warehouse so products are easy to locate.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Provide exceptional service to internal and external customers.
• Support other duties as assigned.
