About The Position

ADI Global Distribution is a wholesale distributor of security and low-voltage products. The Merchandise Shipping/Receiving Associate supports store operations by processing invoices, returns, and replenishment shipments; maintaining stock, sales literature, and event displays; conducting inventory checks; preparing and shipping orders and store transfers; and completing associated paperwork. The role also supports the Will Call Stock sales floor, organizes the warehouse, helps maintain a clean and safe work environment, assists with physical inventory, and provides service to internal and external customers.

Requirements

• Previous shipping, receiving, or inventory experience.
• Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move more than 75 pounds with assistance.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently without close supervision, while contributing to a team.
• Ability to learn quickly and demonstrated multitasking capabilities.
• Strong work ethic and commitment to getting the job done while maintaining high ethical standards.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organization, time-management, and basic math skills.

Nice To Haves

• Previous warehouse or merchandising experience.
• Previous customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Complete invoices and process returns.
• Receive and process replenishment shipments.
• Maintain store stock, sales literature, and event displays.
• Conduct inventory checks and assist with the physical inventory process.
• Prepare and ship orders and store transfers, completing all associated paperwork accurately.
• Maintain and support the Will Call Stock sales floor to enhance the customer sales experience.
• Organize the warehouse so products are easy to locate.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Provide exceptional service to internal and external customers.
• Support other duties as assigned.
