About The Position

The Merchandise Operations Associate supports daily merchandise operations, including processing, placement, maintenance, and fulfillment, under the leadership of and reporting to the Merchandise Operations Team Supervisor/Manager. The role processes inbound merchandise and supports its placement and presentation on the selling floor, while maintaining visual standards. It also involves locating merchandise and completing customer orders, providing responsive customer service, and assisting with other store projects and ad hoc responsibilities as needed.

Requirements

• Ability to lift cartons, climb ladders, and handle merchandise racks and carts, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to maintain merchandising standards on the floor in compliance with Visual standards.
• Computer skills and ability to use available technology, including RF guns, PCs, iOS devices, Excel, Word, and proprietary platforms.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs and follow through on assigned tasks.
• Ability to drive a company vehicle as needed, in accordance with applicable state driver's license standards (select locations only).

Responsibilities

• Process inbound merchandise and place and present merchandise on the selling floor.
• Follow direction to maintain standards for merchandise placement and presentation.
• Participate in store projects as needed, including replenishing merchandise on the selling floor, floor recovery, and supply replenishment.
• Locate requested merchandise in the store and complete customer orders.
• Provide excellent customer service and respond quickly to customer needs.
• Perform ad hoc responsibilities as needed.
