Merchandise Operations Associate PT Hours
About The Position
As a Merchandise Operations Associate, you will assist with stocking, receiving, order fulfillment, and merchandise handling, including maintaining merchandise organization. You will perform daily operational tasks that support store sales and profitability and enhance the customer experience. The role reports to the RPSO Manager and is based in a Neiman Marcus store location. You will support daily store operations, including freight processing, fulfillment and shipping, merchandise placement and presentation, price changes and reticketing, inventory control, stockroom organization, sale-event setup, in-store activations, and adherence to safety procedures.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of retail experience.
- Flexibility in managing competing tasks and a “win together” mentality.
- Basic proficiency with the MS Office Product Suite.
- Certain roles may require standing, bending, climbing stairs, and lifting and carrying up to 35 pounds.
- Work a flexible schedule based on business needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Responsibilities
- Handle merchandise, transfers, and inbound and outbound freight.
- Fulfill, pack, and ship online and in-store customer orders.
- Place merchandise according to merchandise standards.
- Complete price changes and reticketing; sign and move product once marked.
- Process reticketing, damages, out-of-stocks, and related inventory-control tasks.
- Back-stock merchandise and maintain stockroom organization.
- Under the guidance of managers and Visual, merchandise products and set up sale events and signage in accordance with standards.
- Support setup and takedown of in-store events and activations.
- Follow safety procedures on the dock and in all other work areas.
- Complete daily store operations and help direct leads and managers.
