Merchandise Operations Associate PT Hours
About The Position
As a Merchandise Operations Associate, you will assist with stocking, receiving, order fulfillment, and merchandise handling, including maintaining merchandise organization. You will perform daily operational tasks that support store sales and profitability and enhance the customer experience. The position reports to the RPSO Manager and is based in a Neiman Marcus store location. The role includes processing merchandise and freight, fulfilling customer orders, maintaining inventory and stockroom organization, supporting merchandising and sale events, and following safety procedures. A flexible schedule is required based on business needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of retail experience.
- Flexibility in managing competing tasks and a 'win together' mentality.
- Basic proficiency with the MS Office Product Suite.
- Some roles may require standing, bending, climbing stairs, and lifting and carrying up to 35 pounds.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Responsibilities
- Complete daily store operations and assist leads and managers.
- Handle merchandise and transfers, and process inbound and outbound freight.
- Fulfill, pack, and ship online and store customer orders.
- Complete merchandise placements to ensure merchandise standards are followed.
- Process merchandise price changes and reticketing; sign and move product once marked.
- Handle reticketing, damages, mark-outs of stock, and related inventory control processes.
- Back-stock merchandise and maintain stockroom organization.
- Under the guidance of Managers and Visual, merchandise products and set up sale events and signage while ensuring standards are followed.
- Support the setup and take down of in-store events and activations.
- Follow safety procedures on the dock and in all other work areas.
