About The Position

The Merchandising Operations Associate supports merchandise receiving, processing, replenishment, presentation, and related store operations at Saks OFF 5TH. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience executing warehouse duties within a retail, customer service, or sales environment.
• Proven time-management skills and comfort managing multiple projects with shifting priorities.
• Thorough knowledge of the fashion industry and a passion for sharing expertise.
• Ability to act promptly in routine situations and identify a clear plan of action that results in a positive customer outcome.
• Ability to operate radios, POS registers, ticket scanners, and sensor removers.
• Ability to work effectively with inventory management systems.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Maintain truck check-in standards and expedite the receiving and processing of merchandise.
• Deliver merchandise to departments according to visual directives and replenish products as needed.
• Maintain the selling floor and fitting rooms, including resizing fixtures, putting away go-backs, executing markdowns, and signing fixtures and windows according to company standards.
• Maintain merchandise displays in compliance with brand standards.
• Expedite merchandise transfers, customer sends, and Return To Vendors.
• Keep back-of-house areas clean and organized and complete duties in a timely manner.
• Respond appropriately to customer questions, inquiries, and needs.
• Assist on the sales floor when required.
• Follow Asset Protection control and compliance procedures.
• Complete tasks and special projects assigned by store leadership.
