About The Position

The Merchandise Operations Associate supports daily merchandise operations, including processing, placement, maintenance, and fulfillment, under the leadership of and reporting to the Merchandise Operations Team Supervisor/Manager. The role helps process inbound merchandise, maintain selling-floor presentation, and fulfill customer orders while providing excellent customer service. The associate may also assist with other store projects as needed.

Requirements

Ability to lift cartons, climb ladders, and handle merchandise racks and carts, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
Ability to maintain merchandising standards on the floor in compliance with visual standards.
Computer skills and ability to use available technology, including RF guns, PCs, iOS devices, Excel, Word, and proprietary platforms.
Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs and follow through on assigned tasks.
Ability to drive a company vehicle as needed, in accordance with state driver’s license standards, at select locations.

Responsibilities

Process inbound merchandise and place and present merchandise on the selling floor.
Follow directions for maintaining merchandise placement and presentation standards.
Assist with store projects as needed, including replenishing merchandise on the selling floor, floor recovery, and supply replenishment.
Locate requested merchandise in the store and complete customer orders.
Provide excellent customer service and respond promptly to customer needs.
Handle ad hoc responsibilities as needed.
