About The Position

The Merchandise Operations Associate supports the daily operations of merchandise, including processing, placement, maintenance, and fulfillment, under the leadership of and reporting to the Merchandise Operations Team Supervisor/Manager. The role processes inbound merchandise, places and presents merchandise on the selling floor, and helps maintain visual standards. It also fulfills customer orders by locating merchandise in the store and providing responsive customer service. The associate may assist with other store projects and ad hoc responsibilities as needed.

Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, and handle merchandise racks and carts.
• Ability to retain merchandising standards on the floor in compliance with visual standards.
• Computer skills and ability to use available technology, including RF guns, PCs, iOS devices, Excel, Word, and proprietary platforms.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs and follow through on assigned tasks.
• A valid state driver’s license meeting applicable standards when driving a company vehicle is needed at select locations.

Responsibilities

• Process inbound merchandise and place and present merchandise on the selling floor.
• Follow direction in maintaining merchandise placement and presentation standards in compliance with visual standards.
• Assist with other store projects as needed, including filling merchandise on the selling floor, floor recovery, and supply replenishment.
• Locate requested merchandise within the store and complete customer orders.
• Provide excellent customer service and respond quickly to customer needs.
• Handle ad hoc responsibilities as needed.
• Drive a company vehicle as needed at select locations, in accordance with state driver’s license standards.
