Merchandise Coordinator, Wholesale Jewelry- Chicago, IL
About The Position
Premier Brands Group Holdings, a global leader in apparel, jewelry, and accessories, is seeking a full-time Merchandise Coordinator for its Jewelry Group. This role, based in Chicago, IL, will be responsible for servicing multiple brands including Givenchy, Marchesa, Lauren, DKNY, Karl Lagerfeld, Anne Klein, Lonna & Lilly, Napier, Simply Vera, Nine West, and You're Invited. The position involves servicing stores such as Macy's at Oakbrook, Old Orchard, and State Street, as well as Bloomingdales and several Kohl's locations in the area. The Merchandise Coordinator will ensure proper merchandising and presentation of brands, manage stock, execute promotional events, build relationships with store personnel, and communicate product information.
Requirements
- Strong communication skills
- Previous retail and/or merchandising experience preferred
- Ability to multitask
Responsibilities
- Ensure that all brands are merchandised and presented properly by classification, key trends, and lifestyle
- Organize stock by color, style, and price
- Ensure that all promotional and markdown events are executed correctly at store level
- Develop strong relationships in stores with associates and all levels of management
- Communicate trends, product knowledge, and selling information to the stores
- Prioritize developing partnerships with store management in order to negotiate prime locations, additional capacity, and communicate stock call outs
- Report issues and concerns with Regional Manager
- Complete store recaps, time sheets, and expense reports
