About The Position

This Hospitalist position with National Wound Physician Group focuses on wound management in post-acute care settings, including Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals. Physicians provide bedside wound care, conduct weekly rounds, and utilize cutting-edge technologies and wound care modalities. The role offers significant clinical satisfaction, autonomy, flexibility, and work-life balance, with no nights, call, or weekend responsibilities. Physicians receive specialized training, including a wound fellowship, to become experts in the field. The practice is mobile, covering a 40-60 mile radius and visiting 2-3 facilities per day to treat approximately 20-30 patients. Clinical documentation is performed in real-time using a proprietary wound-specific EMR.

Requirements

Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state you wish to practice
Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week
Full, active, and unrestricted license in the state you wish to practice
Minimum commitment of 3 days a week within our working days of Monday through Friday

Responsibilities
