Caregiver – Chicago, IL
About The Position
A family in Chicago, Illinois, is seeking an experienced and compassionate caregiver to support an elderly family member during late-afternoon and evening hours. The caregiver will provide companionship and memory care supervision, assist with gentle indoor mobility and walking laps around the home to help manage arthritis stiffness, and help with routine personal care such as applying skin cream. The role also involves ensuring the family member’s safety and comfort. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, from 2:00 PM to either 6:00 PM or 7:00 PM, for 16–20 hours per week. The start date is ASAP. The home is smoke-free and pet-free. This is a private, family-hired position; caregivers are hired directly by the family and are not employed by Wellthy. Candidates will be subject to a background check and must provide proof of legal authorization to work in the United States. Requirements
- Prior senior care experience.
- Experience with dementia care and mobility support.
- Ability to commute reliably.
- Strong communication skills, reliability, and an engaging presence.
- Proof of legal authorization to work in the United States.
- Successful completion of a background check.

- CPR/First Aid certification.
