About The Position

This Hospitalist position with National Wound Physician Group offers clinical satisfaction, autonomy, and flexibility with a focus on work-life balance. The role involves providing bedside wound care in post-acute care settings such as Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals. Physicians will conduct weekly wound rounds, utilizing cutting-edge clinical technologies and the latest wound care modalities. The position includes comprehensive physician-level wound management training and a wound fellowship, aiming to develop expertise in wound care. The practice is mobile, covering a 40-60 mile radius and visiting 2-3 facilities per day, treating approximately 20-30 patients daily. Clinical documentation is performed in real-time using a proprietary wound-specific EMR.

Requirements

Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state you wish to practice.
Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week.
Full, active, and unrestricted license in the state you wish to practice.
Minimum commitment of 3 days a week within our working days of Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities

Provide bedside wound care in post-acute care settings (Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals).

Perform clinical documentation in real-time using a proprietary wound-specific EMR.
Participate in a 6-month wound care fellowship.
