About The Position
ViaQuest Psychiatric & Behavioral Solutions provides individualized care to adults residing in long-term care facilities. The Mental Health Therapist works as part of a team that includes Certified Nurse Practitioners, Mental Health Counselors, and Social Workers to support client outcomes. The role is full time, serves an assigned service area, and does not require weekend work.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in social work or professional counseling.
- Social Work or Professional Counseling license or equivalent: LCSW or LMHC.
- Valid driver’s license, car insurance, and reliable transportation.
- Willingness to travel throughout the assigned service area.
Nice To Haves
- Two years’ experience in therapy and counseling is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostic assessments.
- Provide patient visits as scheduled.
- Ensure treatment plans are up to date for each client.
- Complete comprehensive and succinct progress notes.
- Communicate and follow up as needed regarding each client's status.
- Work collaboratively with those providing case management and/or psychiatric services.
