About The Position
ViaQuest Psychiatric & Behavioral Solutions provides individualized care to adults living in long-term care facilities. The Mental Health Therapist works with Certified Nurse Practitioners, Mental Health Counselors, and Social Workers to support client outcomes. The role is full-time, offers a stated annual salary of $65,000–$75,000, and does not require weekend work. It involves travel throughout an assigned service area.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in social work or professional counseling.
- Social Work or Professional Counseling license, or equivalent: LCSW or LMHC.
- Valid driver’s license, car insurance, and reliable transportation.
- Willingness to travel throughout the assigned service area.
Nice To Haves
- Two years of experience in therapy and counseling is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostic assessments.
- Provide patient visits as scheduled.
- Ensure treatment plans are up to date for each client.
- Complete comprehensive and succinct progress notes.
- Communicate and follow up as needed regarding clients’ status.
- Work collaboratively with professionals providing case management and/or psychiatric services.
