About The Position

ViaQuest Psychiatric & Behavioral Solutions provides individualized mental health care to adults residing in long-term care facilities. The Mental Health Therapist works with a team of Certified Nurse Practitioners, Mental Health Counselors, and Social Workers to support clients and achieve the best possible outcomes. The role is full-time, pays an annual salary of $65,000–$75,000, and does not require weekend work. The position involves travel throughout an assigned service area.

Requirements

Master’s degree in social work or professional counseling.
Social Work/Professional Counseling license or equivalent: LCSW or LMHC.
Valid driver’s license, car insurance, and reliable transportation.
Willingness to travel throughout the assigned service area.

Nice To Haves

Two years of experience in therapy and counseling is preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive diagnostic assessments.
Provide patient visits as scheduled.
Keep treatment plans up to date for each client.
Complete comprehensive and succinct progress notes.
Communicate and follow up as needed regarding clients’ status.
Collaborate with professionals providing case management and/or psychiatric services.
