About The Position
ViaQuest Psychiatric & Behavioral Solutions provides individualized care to adults residing in long-term care facilities. Mental Health Therapists work with Certified Nurse Practitioners, Mental Health Counselors, and Social Workers to support client outcomes. This is a full-time position with an annual salary of $65,000–$75,000 and no weekend work.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in social work or professional counseling.
- Social Work or Professional Counseling license, or equivalent: LCSW or LMHC.
- Valid driver’s license, car insurance, and reliable transportation.
- Willingness to travel throughout the assigned service area.
Nice To Haves
- Two years’ experience in therapy and counseling is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostic assessments.
- Provide patient visits as scheduled.
- Ensure treatment plans are up to date for each client.
- Complete comprehensive and succinct progress notes.
- Communicate and follow up as needed regarding clients’ status.
- Work collaboratively with those providing case management and/or psychiatric services.
