About The Position
ViaQuest Psychiatric & Behavioral Solutions provides individualized care to adults residing in long-term care facilities. Mental Health Therapists work with Certified Nurse Practitioners, Mental Health Counselors, and Social Workers to support client outcomes. The role serves an assigned service area and requires travel. It is full-time and does not require weekend work.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in social work or professional counseling.
- Social Work or Professional Counseling license or equivalent: LCSW or LMHC.
- Valid driver’s license, car insurance, and reliable transportation.
- Willingness to travel throughout the assigned service area.
Nice To Haves
- Two years of experience in therapy and counseling is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostic assessments.
- Provide patient visits as scheduled.
- Keep each client’s treatment plan up to date.
- Complete comprehensive and succinct progress notes.
- Communicate and follow up as needed regarding client status.
- Collaborate with professionals providing case management and/or psychiatric services.
