About The Position

ViaQuest Psychiatric & Behavioral Solutions provides individualized care to adults living in long-term care facilities. The Mental Health Therapist works with a team of Certified Nurse Practitioners, Mental Health Counselors, and Social Workers to support clients and achieve positive outcomes. The role is full-time, serves an assigned area, and does not require weekend work.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in social work or professional counseling.
• Social Work or Professional Counseling license, or equivalent: LCSW or LMHC.
• Valid driver's license, car insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Willingness to travel throughout the assigned service area.

Nice To Haves

• Two years of experience in therapy and counseling is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive diagnostic assessments.
• Provide patient visits as scheduled.
• Keep each client's treatment plan up to date.
• Complete comprehensive and succinct progress notes.
• Communicate and follow up as needed regarding a client's status.
• Collaborate with those providing case management and/or psychiatric services.
