About The Position
The Mental Health Technician provides direct support to older adult patients receiving psychiatric or behavioral health care, working under the supervision of nursing and clinical staff. This is a full-time day-shift position with a 12-hour-by-3-days schedule (36 hours per week).
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Satori Alternatives to Managing Aggression (SAMA) certification within the first week of hire.
- Two years of experience in a mental health-related field with direct patient care responsibilities.
