About The Position
The Mental Health Technician provides direct support to patients receiving psychiatric or behavioral health care, working under the supervision of nursing and clinical staff. This position is for the Older Adult service and works 36 hours per week across three 12-hour day shifts.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- American Heart Association Satori Alternatives to Managing Aggression (SAMA) certification within the first week of hire.
- Two years of experience in a mental health-related field with direct patient care responsibilities.
