Mental Health Technician - PRN/Per Diem
About The Position
Via Linda Behavioral Hospital is a 120-bed behavioral health facility serving Scottsdale and the greater Phoenix, Arizona, metro area. It provides inpatient and outpatient mental health services and substance use treatment for teens, adults, and older adults. Mental Health Technicians work under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse to provide clerical and patient-care activities for patients with psychiatric and substance abuse conditions. They manage behavioral problems, facilitate education and activity groups, and actively participate as members of the treatment team. PRN/per diem and full-time positions are available. Applicants interested in the specialized Military Unit or Women's Unit should tell their interviewer.
Requirements
- High school diploma.
- Valid Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance or the ability to obtain one.
Nice To Haves
- CNA certification is preferred.
