About The Position

Bloom Health Centers serves patients through psychiatry, psychotherapy, TMS, Spravato, and psychological testing. We are looking for an empathetic and driven mental health professional to join our ancillary team! As a part of our rapidly growing department the best candidate for this role would be someone who is passionate, driven, and takes initiative. Training and education surrounding TMS therapy is provided, so experience with TMS is a great plus but is not required.

Requirements

Successful completion of training and TMS certification.
Must be available sometime MON-FRI within the window of 7:00am – 7:00pm hours depending on schedule assignment.
1+ years of direct clinical or medical care.
Must be organized, reliable, professional and be able to maintain confidentiality.
Must be able to clearly communicate through speaking, reading and writing in English.
Must have basic computer skills: (Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook)
Ability to Commute: Winchester, VA 22602 (Required)
Ability to Relocate: Winchester, VA 22602: Relocate before starting work (Required)

Nice To Haves

Bachelors or associates degree in psychology, healthcare administration, or related field preferred.
Experience working with patients suffering from depression preferred.

Responsibilities

Treat patients according to specified protocol by correctly setting up and utilizing TMS equipment.
Treat patients utilizing TMS according to specified treatment course protocol.
Engage in appropriate clinical conversations throughout treatment to help guide and reassure patients throughout the journey.
Monitor for and escalate critical situations as necessary including but not limited to suicidal ideation and adverse medical events during treatment.
Complete clinical documentation in a timely manner including detailed patient notes assessing progress, PHQ-9 scores, billing codes, and REMS reporting.
Handling medical records in compliance with HIPAA.
Collaborating with a team of mental health professionals to ensure exceptional patient care via weekly patient rounds.
Creating fee forms/payment plans for any out-of-pocket costs.
Confer with patients by telephone or email in a timely manner to provide information about TMS therapy, make and change appointment times, update information of patient accounts, and provide other related services.
Provide internal and external collaboration, education, and marketing that includes talking with Bloom Health Center providers and external sources.
Perform other duties in line with the role as instructed by direct supervisor.
Present oneself in a professional manner when speaking to patients, coworkers, and mental health professionals.
Have reliable transportation and be able to conform to the shift schedule provided.
