About The Position
AB Staffing is seeking compassionate, motivated Mental Health Professionals to work in a correctional setting in Appleton, Minnesota. The role supports individuals facing mental health and substance use challenges by providing guidance and therapeutic services in a collaborative environment. The assignment is 13–26 weeks, with the option to extend.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in a healthcare- or behavioral health-related field, such as Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or Human Services.
- Minnesota licensure as an LCSW, LICSW, LPC, or LMFT.
- Experience working with individuals affected by substance use.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities
- Conduct mental health assessments and screenings.
- Develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
- Collaborate with healthcare and correctional staff.
- Support positive behavioral change and recovery.
