About The Position

Centurion is seeking a full-time Mental Health Professional to join its team at the Central Florida Reception Center in Orlando, Florida. Centurion provides comprehensive healthcare services to the Florida Department of Corrections.

The Mental Health Professional provides mental health case management services to patients in a correctional setting and consults with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive mental health care. Services include intake and assessments, crisis intervention, treatment planning, and individual and group therapy. The schedule is 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. The listed salary is $70,000 for Registered Interns and $80,000 for fully licensed professionals.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field from an accredited educational institution.
• Active Florida mental health professional license (LMHC, LCSW, LMFT, and SW) or status as a Mental Health Registered Intern.
• Active Basic Life Support certification.
• Ability to pass a background investigation and obtain agency security clearance where applicable.

Nice To Haves

• At least two years of experience providing direct care to individuals with mental illness is preferred.
