About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Memory Care Support Partner to join our team at Vitalia Senior Residences at Stow. This full-time position involves providing empathetic care and creating meaningful connections with residents in our memory care neighborhoods. You will be responsible for understanding resident needs, developing engagement plans, setting the environment for a successful day, and assisting residents with all facets of daily life. This role requires excellent documentation skills and the ability to assist with orienting new team members.

Requirements

Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
Positive and energetic attitude.
Computer skills for printing documents and entering resident information.
Must be active, requiring standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
Must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

Create human connection with residents during their most vulnerable moments, demonstrating empathy.
Observe residents to discover their interests, abilities, and unique characteristics.
Collaborate to create appropriate engagement plans and implement strategies with patience.
Set the stage for a successful day by preparing dining rooms, libraries, and resident rooms.
Partner with residents to achieve all facets of daily life from waking to sleeping.
Document resident care and changes in condition accurately.
Assist with the orientation of team members assigned to memory care neighborhoods.
