About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Memory Care Support Partner to join our team at Vitalia N Olmsted. This full-time role involves creating human connections with residents, understanding their interests and abilities, and implementing engagement plans. The position also requires setting the stage for a successful day by preparing environments, partnering with residents throughout their daily lives, and documenting resident care. The ideal candidate will be at least eighteen years old, possess a high school diploma or equivalent, and have strong communication skills in English. Computer skills are necessary for documentation and printing. This role is physically demanding, requiring standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. The ability to assist residents with mobility and after falls is also crucial. Candidates must be criminally cleared.

Requirements

Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
High school diploma, or equivalent.
Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English.
Positive and energetic attitude.
Computer skills to print documents and enter resident information.
Must be active as this role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
Must be able to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
Must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

Create human connection with residents during their most vulnerable moments.
Discover residents’ interests, abilities, and what makes each resident who they are.
Collaborate to create appropriate engagement plans and implement strategies with patience.
Set the stage for a successful day by preparing environments such as the dining room, library, or resident rooms.
Partner with residents to achieve all facets of daily life from waking to sleeping.
Document resident care and changes in condition.
Assist with the orientation of team members assigned to memory care neighborhoods.
