About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Memory Care Support Partner to join our team at Vitalia Solon. This part-time role involves creating human connections with residents, understanding their interests and abilities, and setting the stage for their daily experiences. You will partner with residents throughout their day, document their care, and assist with orienting new team members in memory care neighborhoods. We are looking for individuals who are at least eighteen years old, possess a high school diploma or equivalent, can communicate effectively in English, and have a positive, energetic attitude. Computer skills are necessary for documentation and printing. This role requires active participation, including standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping, with the ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds. You must also be able to assist residents with mobility and be criminally cleared.

Requirements

Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
High school diploma, or equivalent.
Read, write, understand, and communicate in English with our Residents.
Positive and energetic attitude.
Computer skills to be able to print documents and enter information about our Residents.
Active as this role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
Able to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
Criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

Create human connection with residents during their most vulnerable moments.
Discover residents’ interests, abilities, and what makes each resident who they are.
Collaborate to create appropriate engagement plans and implement strategies with patience to ensure success.
Be responsible for setting the stage for a successful day, from preparing dining rooms and event spaces to preparing resident rooms for their nighttime routine.
Partnering with residents to achieve all facets of daily life from the moment they wake to the moment they go to sleep.
Document resident care and changes in condition.
Assist with orientation of team members assigned to memory care neighborhoods.
