About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Memory Care Support Partner to join our team at Castlewood in Nixa, MO. This full-time position involves creating a supportive and engaging environment for residents in our memory care neighborhood. The role requires a deep understanding of empathy, patient observation, and the ability to create a positive living experience for residents, from daily routines to special events. You will be a vital partner in assisting residents with all aspects of their daily lives and documenting their care.

Requirements

At least eighteen (18) years of age.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English.
Positive and energetic attitude.
Computer skills for printing documents and entering resident information.
Must be active, requiring standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
Must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

Understand the importance of empathy and create human connection with residents during their most vulnerable moments.
Observe residents to discover their interests, abilities, and unique characteristics.
Collaborate to create appropriate engagement plans and implement strategies with patience.
Set the stage for a successful day by preparing the environment, including dining areas, event spaces, and resident rooms.
Partner with residents to achieve all facets of daily life from waking to sleeping.
Document resident care and changes in condition accurately.
Assist with the orientation of new team members assigned to memory care neighborhoods.
