About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Memory Care Support Partner for Vitalia Senior Residences at Stow. This full-time position involves providing empathetic care and support to residents in memory care neighborhoods. The role focuses on creating human connections, understanding resident needs, setting the stage for a successful day through environmental preparation, and partnering with residents throughout their daily lives. Responsibilities include documenting resident care, assisting with team member orientation, and ensuring a positive living environment.

Requirements

At least eighteen (18) years of age.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
Positive and energetic attitude.
Computer skills for printing documents and entering resident information.
Must be active, requiring standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
Must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

Create human connection with residents during their most vulnerable moments.
Understand residents’ interests, abilities, and what makes each resident who they are.
Collaborate to create appropriate engagement plans and implement strategies with patience.
Set the stage for a successful day by preparing the environment (e.g., dining room, library, resident rooms).
Partner with residents to achieve all facets of daily life from waking to sleeping.
Document resident care and changes in condition.
Assist with orientation of team members assigned to memory care neighborhoods.
