About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a Memory Care Support Partner for Vitalia Active Adult Community at North Olmsted. This PRN position offers a flexible schedule and a starting wage of $18-$24 per hour. The role involves creating human connection with residents, understanding their interests and abilities to develop engagement plans, preparing the environment for resident experiences, partnering with residents in daily life, documenting resident care, and assisting with the orientation of new team members in memory care neighborhoods.

Requirements

Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
High school diploma, or equivalent.
Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
Positive and energetic attitude.
Computer skills for printing documents and entering resident information.
Must be active, requiring standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
Must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

Create human connection with residents during their most vulnerable moments.
Discover residents’ interests, abilities, and what makes each resident who they are.
Collaborate to create appropriate engagement plans and implement strategies with patience.
Be responsible for setting the stage for a successful day, including preparing dining rooms, event spaces, and resident rooms.
Partner with residents to achieve all facets of daily life from waking to sleep.
Document resident care and changes in condition.
Assist with orientation of team members assigned to memory care neighborhoods.
