About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is hiring a full-time Memory Care Support Partner at Vitalia N Royalton in North Royalton, Ohio. The role pays $18 to $24.25 per hour and works 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. on a two-week rotating schedule: Monday, Saturday, and Sunday in Week 1; Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday in Week 2. The Memory Care Support Partner creates empathetic connections with residents, learns about their interests and abilities, and collaborates on appropriate engagement plans. The role helps create a supportive resident experience by preparing dining and activity spaces and residents’ rooms for daily routines. The partner supports residents throughout daily life, documents care and changes in condition, and assists with orienting team members assigned to memory care neighborhoods.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
Positive, energetic attitude and enthusiasm for working with residents.
Computer skills sufficient to print documents and enter resident information.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop throughout the day.
Ability to frequently lift and/or move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, walking, and after a fall.
Must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

Create human connections with residents through empathy, particularly during vulnerable moments.
Learn residents’ interests, abilities, and individual qualities; collaborate on engagement plans and patiently implement strategies.
Prepare dining rooms, libraries, residents’ rooms, and other spaces for meals, events, and resident routines.
Partner with residents in daily activities and routines, from waking through bedtime.
Document resident care and changes in condition.
Assist with the orientation of team members assigned to memory care neighborhoods.
Assist residents with sitting, standing, walking, and after a fall.
