About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Memory Care Homemaker to join our team at Vitalia Montrose in Copley, OH. This full-time position offers a unique opportunity to create a welcoming and supportive environment for residents in our memory care neighborhood. As a Memory Care Homemaker, you will be instrumental in maintaining a homelike atmosphere, assisting with meal times, ensuring residents receive adequate hydration and snacks, and engaging them in meaningful activities. Requirements

• At least eighteen (18) years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Professional appearance and conduct.
• Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency.
• Positive and energetic attitude.
• Must be active and able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop all day.
• Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
• Must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

• Create an inviting, comfortable, homelike, and tidy atmosphere in memory care apartments and common areas.
• Prepare and serve family-style dining, guiding residents to participate in their dining experience.
• Assist with cleaning up after meals together with residents.
• Ensure all residents are offered snacks and hydration three times a day.
• Engage residents and provide meaningful experiences as extra hands in the Neighborhood.
