About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Memory Care Homemaker to join our team at Holliday Farms in Zionsville, IN. This full-time position offers a unique opportunity to create a welcoming, comfortable, and tidy environment for residents in our memory care neighborhood. You will play a vital role in preparing and serving meals family-style, ensuring residents have access to snacks and hydration, and engaging them in meaningful activities. Requirements

• At least eighteen (18) years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Professional appearance and conduct.
• Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency.
• Positive and energetic attitude.
• Must be active, requiring standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
• Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
• Must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

• Creating an inviting, comfortable, homelike, and tidy atmosphere in memory care apartments and common areas.
• Preparing and serving family-style dining, encouraging resident participation in setting tables and cleaning up.
• Ensuring residents are offered snacks and hydration three times a day.
• Engaging residents and providing meaningful experiences as extra support in the Neighborhood.
