About The Position

The Oshman Family Jewish Community Center (OFJCC) is a non-profit organization in Silicon Valley that provides educational, social, cultural, spiritual, fitness, and wellness programs. The Membership Sales Representative develops leads and enrolls new members to achieve individual membership sales goals, while building relationships with prospective and current members to support retention and referrals. The role calls for proactive, high-standard customer service and familiarity with the Center’s programs and services.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 4 years of sales experience.
• Passion for health and wellness and an enthusiastic, friendly personality.
• Self-starter mindset with strong organization and follow-up skills.
• Excellent communication skills and a professional, team-player attitude.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel.
• Availability to work Saturdays and Sundays every week, plus evenings and holidays as needed.

• Experience with personal training or group exercise.

Responsibilities

• Develop leads and enroll new members to meet and exceed membership sales goals.
• Respond promptly to phone and email inquiries and schedule tours for prospective members.
• Lead enthusiastic, informative tours of the fitness center and campus, showcasing membership benefits.
• Present membership options and pricing, and sell secondary services.
• Follow up with prospective members and guests who have not enrolled and encourage member referrals.
