About The Position

The Evening & Weekend Membership Sales Representative is a full-time role in the health and fitness industry, focused on growing the health club community by introducing prospective members to its facilities, programs, and services. The position suits an energetic, motivated, outgoing person who enjoys connecting with people, working in sales, and helping others pursue their health and fitness goals. The primary objective is to turn prospective members into active members through tours, consultations, follow-up, and membership sales. The schedule is evenings and weekends, and compensation includes hourly pay, sales commissions, and incentives.

Responsibilities

Generate new memberships through facility tours, consultations, and follow-up conversations.
Welcome prospective members and provide an exceptional first impression.
Explain membership options, amenities, programs, and promotions to guests.
Convert walk-in traffic, guest passes, and membership inquiries into new memberships.
Meet or exceed individual membership sales goals.
Contact prospective members by phone, text message, and email.
Schedule appointments and follow up with potential members.
Reconnect with former members and encourage them to return.
Promote referral programs and special membership offers.
Maintain accurate prospect and sales records in the club’s membership system.
Build positive relationships with current and prospective members.
Maintain a welcoming, professional, and enthusiastic club atmosphere.
Assist with membership promotions, special events, and community outreach.
Work with club management to identify opportunities for membership growth.
Support front desk operations and member services as needed.
