About The Position

Live Fit Gym and Wellness Club is seeking a full-time Membership Advisor for its Hayes Valley location. The organization is a boutique-style health club offering wellness and personal training services, state-of-the-art equipment, and a welcoming community atmosphere. Founded in 2007, its mission is to provide holistic care to the San Francisco community.

The Membership Advisor is a sales-focused role for an energetic, enthusiastic, self-motivated, and goal-oriented person. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, 12 p.m. to 8 p.m., and Saturday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The advisor presents the club’s wellness and fitness plans, supports prospective and current members, sells memberships and ancillary services, and helps maintain a professional, welcoming club environment. Requirements

• Self-motivated, with strong customer service skills and a positive attitude.
• Strong interpersonal skills; courteous, respectful, and supportive of colleagues’ and clients’ needs.
• Reliable and punctual.

Responsibilities

• Meet and surpass daily sales goals by professionally and effectively presenting wellness and fitness plans.
• Handle prospects, guest traffic, phone inquiries, and appointment scheduling.
• Conduct high-quality tours of the facility.
• Provide outstanding customer service and interact with and observe members, making recommendations and proactively solving problems.
• Demonstrate knowledge of and enthusiasm for the Live Fit brand, wellness services, and facilities.
• Work at the front desk and answer phones in a courteous, helpful manner.
• Initiate sales of personal training, massage, and other ancillary services at the point of sale.
• Create a friendly atmosphere for members and guests.
• Follow all policies, procedures, and standards.
• Facilitate member requests or forward them to a manager.
• Maintain a professional manner and keep the work area clean, neat, and organized.
• Assist with projects as delegated by club management.
• Follow the policies and procedures in the Employee Handbook.
• Be reliable and timely for scheduled work.
