About The Position

The Member Services Representative creates a positive member experience by providing superior customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members, and guests. This is an on-call role working coverage shifts only at the Tucson East Broadway & Kolb location. The position handles front-desk activities, supports membership inquiries and account updates, and helps maintain the club’s neatness and cleanliness.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Punctuality and reliability are required.
• Able to interact positively and professionally with members and co-workers and exceed member expectations.
• Strong listening skills, with the ability to empathize and problem solve.
• Demonstrate diplomacy in all interactions and use appropriate behavior and language.
• Able to stand and walk continually during a shift, and talk continually in person or on the phone during a shift.
• Able to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
• May occasionally encounter toxic chemicals during a shift.

Responsibilities

• Greet members, prospective members, and guests and provide exceptional customer service.
• Handle front desk activities, including answering phones in a friendly manner and assisting callers with questions.
• Check members into the system.
• Sign up new members.
• Take prospective members on tours.
• Facilitate needed updates to members’ accounts.
• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner, escalating them to the Assistant Manager or Manager as needed.
• Assist in maintaining the neatness and cleanliness of the club.
