About The Position

The Member Services Representative creates a positive member experience by providing a superior level of customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members, and guests. This is an on-call role working coverage shifts only, located at Tucson East Broadway & Kolb.

The representative greets members and guests, handles front desk activities, answers questions, supports memberships and account updates, and helps maintain the club’s neatness and cleanliness.

Requirements

• Basic computer proficiency.

• Punctuality and reliability.
• Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to interact positively and professionally with members and co-workers while exceeding member expectations.
• Strong listening skills and the ability to empathize and problem solve.
• Demonstrate diplomacy in all interactions while using appropriate behavior and language.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Continual standing and walking during the shift.
• Continual talking in person or on the phone during the shift.
• Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
• Will occasionally encounter toxic chemicals during the shift.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet members, prospective members, and guests, providing exceptional customer service.
• Handle front desk activities, including answering phones in a friendly manner and assisting callers with questions.
• Check members into the system.
• Sign up new members.
• Take prospective members on tours.
• Facilitate needed updates to members’ accounts.
• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner, escalating to the Assistant Manager or Manager as needed.
• Assist in maintaining the neatness and cleanliness of the club.
