About The Position
The Member Services Representative (MSR) at Planet Fitness provides an exceptional experience for members, prospective members, and guests while helping maintain the club’s welcoming Judgement Free Zone. The role includes front-desk operations, member account support, tours, sales, and assigned cleaning. It offers opportunities to develop customer service, organizational, and leadership skills and to grow within the company, which promotes from within. The position pays $17.40 per hour.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to interact positively and professionally with members and coworkers while exceeding member expectations.
- Strong listening skills and the ability to empathize and solve problems.
- Demonstrate diplomacy and use appropriate behavior and language in all interactions.
- Punctuality and reliability.
- Able to stand and walk continually during the shift and talk continually in person or on the club phone during the shift.
- Able to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
Nice To Haves
- Customer service background preferred.
- Experience in sales.

- Upbeat and positive attitude.
- CPR, AED, and First Aid certification.
Responsibilities
- Greet members, prospective members, and guests and provide an exceptional customer experience.
- Help maintain the Judgement Free Zone by being courteous and welcoming.
- Take prospective members on club tours.
- Answer phones in a friendly manner and assist callers with questions.
- Check members into the system and sign up new members.
- Help members download the PF Mobile App.
- Facilitate updates to member accounts.
- Respond to member questions and concerns promptly and professionally, escalating issues to the Assistant Manager or Manager when needed.
- Complete assigned cleaning areas.
- Promote sales of tanning lotions and memberships.
- Create connections with the community.
