About The Position

Excel Fitness, a Planet Fitness franchise group, is hiring a Member Services Representative to create a positive member experience through excellent customer service and facility cleanliness. The role is based at a Planet Fitness club and includes greeting and checking in members, showing prospective members the facility, helping with new account sign-ups, updating member accounts, responding to questions and concerns, and cleaning facility areas. The posting describes the position as full time and flex. Full-time employees have paid leave; additional benefits are available to eligible Team Players.

Requirements

• Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to interact positively and professionally with members and co-workers while exceeding member expectations.
• Punctuality and reliability.
• Demonstrate diplomacy in all interactions and use appropriate behavior and language.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide an exceptional customer service experience.
• Check members into the system.
• Take prospective members on tours and assist with the new account sign-up process.
• Facilitate needed updates to members’ accounts.
• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner, escalating issues to the Assistant Manager or Manager as needed.
• Perform detailed cleaning in all areas of the facility.
