About The Position

As a Member Service Specialist (Teller/Customer Service) at Space Coast Credit Union, you will provide exceptional member service by assisting with deposits, loans, and new account processing. You will assess members’ needs, recommend SCCU products and services, and resolve issues efficiently. The position also handles financial transactions, account servicing, cash balancing, and use of computer and online systems. The role is full-time during branch operating hours, with alternating Saturday shifts.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 0–6+ months of customer service and/or cash handling experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Meet established sales and service goals by demonstrating effective sales and service skills.
• Consult with members about SCCU products and services and recommend additional offerings to meet their needs.
• Periodically serve as floor manager by assessing walk-in members’ needs, directing them to appropriate information sources, maintaining lobby efficiency, and minimizing wait times.
• Process deposits, withdrawals, payments, and sales of monetary instruments.
• Accurately balance cash, monetary instruments, and daily work to maintain member account integrity.
• Service existing deposit and loan accounts and assist members with transactions and account maintenance.
• Use computer terminals, online systems, commands, and general ledger fee and transaction codes effectively to produce accurate work.
