Teller/Customer Service - Rockledge Branch (Grade 5)
About The Position
As a Member Service Specialist (Teller/Customer Service) at Space Coast Credit Union’s Rockledge Branch, you will provide member-focused service by assisting with deposits, loans, and new account processing. You will assess members’ needs, recommend suitable SCCU products and services, and resolve issues efficiently. The role also includes processing transactions, servicing deposit and loan accounts, maintaining accurate cash and daily work, and using SCCU computer and online systems to complete error-free work. This is a full-time position during branch hours: Monday through Friday, 7:45 a.m. to 6:15 p.m., and alternating Saturdays, 8:30 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. SCCU offers on-the-job training and identifies the position as eligible for promotion after 12 months.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalency.
- Customer service and/or cash handling experience of 0–6+ months preferred.

Responsibilities
- Meet established goals by demonstrating effective sales and service skills.
- Consult with members about SCCU products and services and recommend additional offerings to address their needs.
- Periodically serve as floor manager, assessing walk-in members’ needs and directing them to appropriate information sources while supporting lobby efficiency and reducing wait times.
- Process deposits, withdrawals, payments, and sales of monetary instruments.
- Accurately balance cash, monetary instruments, and daily work to maintain member account integrity.
- Service existing deposit and loan accounts and assist members with transactions and account maintenance.
- Master and effectively use computer terminals, online systems, commands, and general ledger fee and transaction codes to produce error-free work.
- Assist members with deposits, loans, and new account processing, and resolve issues efficiently.
