Teller/Customer Service - Hialeah Branch (Grade 5)
About The Position
Space Coast Credit Union is hiring a Member Service Specialist (Teller/Customer Service) for its Hialeah Branch. The role delivers member service by assisting with deposits, loans, and new account processing; assessing member needs; recommending appropriate SCCU products; and resolving issues. The position includes transaction processing, account servicing, cash balancing, and use of computer and online systems. The role is full-time during branch operating hours, with alternating Saturday rotations. The listed starting salary is $17.91–$18.97 per hour, with eligibility for one SCCU annual bonus.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 0–6+ months of customer service and/or cash handling experience preferred.

Responsibilities
- Meet established sales and service goals through effective sales and service skills.
- Consult with members about SCCU products and services and recommend additional offerings based on their needs.
- Periodically serve as floor manager by assessing walk-in members’ needs, directing them to the appropriate information source, maintaining lobby efficiency, and minimizing wait times.
- Process deposits, withdrawals, payments, and sales of monetary instruments.
- Accurately balance cash, monetary instruments, and daily work to maintain member account integrity.
- Service existing deposit and loan accounts, assist members with transactions and account maintenance, and meet or exceed member expectations.
- Use the computer terminal, online system, required commands, and general ledger fee and transaction codes to produce accurate work.
- Assist members with loans and new account processing, assess their needs, and resolve issues efficiently.
