About The Position

Kohler Credit Union is hiring a Full-Time Teller/Member Service Representative at our Plymouth Branch. This role is ideal for individuals with a background in retail, customer service, hospitality, or other people-focused roles who are looking to transition into financial services. No prior banking experience is necessary, as the credit union provides comprehensive training and development opportunities. The position focuses on building member relationships, assisting with financial transactions, identifying needs, and recommending suitable products and services to help members achieve their financial goals. The role emphasizes providing exceptional customer service, ensuring efficient branch operations, and fostering a positive member experience.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required.
Strong math, communication, and computer skills.
Positive attitude, attention to detail, adaptability, and a genuine passion for helping others.
Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in retail, customer service, hospitality, cash handling, or another customer-facing role is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Build strong relationships with members by providing friendly, personalized service.
Process deposits, withdrawals, payments, and other financial transactions accurately and efficiently.
Maintain balanced cash drawers while following all cash handling and security procedures.
Identify member needs and recommend appropriate products and services.
Meet performance expectations related to service quality, accuracy, and member satisfaction.
Communicate effectively with members and teammates in person, by phone, and through email.
Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to expand your knowledge and grow your career.
