Member Service Rep - Part Time
About The Position
The Saratoga Regional YMCA is seeking a friendly, motivated Member Service Representative to create a welcoming, positive, and inclusive experience for members and guests. The role maintains a supportive atmosphere that welcomes and respects all individuals. It responds to member and guest needs, promotes memberships and programs, and helps individuals and families feel informed, supported, and engaged. The position is part-time, pays $17.48 per hour, and requires opening shifts from 5:00 AM to 1:00 PM. The YMCA describes the work atmosphere as fun and interactive and offers a free YMCA membership. Requirements
- Minimum age of 18 years old.
- Previous customer service, sales, or related experience.
- CPR and First Aid, child abuse prevention training, and Y orientation certifications must be completed within 90 days of hire.
- Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of the community.
- Basic knowledge of computers.
- Customer service focus and a positive attitude.
- Comfort with computers and ability to learn new systems.
