About The Position

The Member Experience Associate delivers outstanding service and value to AAA Members through personal care, service, and sales across multiple branch locations. The position rotates between branches according to business needs and is measured as an individual contributor, with accountability for achieving individual sales targets. Associates need to adapt to different branch environments, teams, Member needs, product lines, services, and systems.

This is an onsite role at the Santa Rosa Mendocino Avenue location, with assignments at other branches as needed. The role includes fundamental Member interactions and product sales across service areas such as Member Services, Concierge, DMV/MVD, Auto Travel, Unlicensed Insurance Services, and Smart Home Security. Associates use consultative sales techniques to uncover needs, recommend solutions, and close sales while following branch procedures and compliance requirements. Rotating Saturday availability, flexibility, and travel between locations are required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2–4 years of work experience, including at least 1 year in a sales role.
• Sales experience is required.
• Demonstrated adaptability, willingness to travel, and flexibility to cover shifts at multiple locations.
• Current and valid driver's license.
• Ability to work rotating Saturdays.
• Strong customer service orientation, active listening, problem-solving, communication, and adaptability.
• Ability to meet goals, communicate effectively, and develop quality working relationships with peers, leaders, and internal partners.
• Ability to use multiple computer systems and applications and adapt to differing system configurations or processes.
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures and demonstrate fiduciary accountability.
• Bonding, fingerprinting, and P&C licensing may be required depending on branch needs.

Nice To Haves

• Background in insurance, retail, hospitality, service industries, or call centers.
• Demonstrated success meeting or exceeding defined sales standards and targets.
• Customer service experience.
• Spanish-speaking skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide Member Services and product sales across the fundamental service areas required by assigned branches.
• Maintain knowledge of AAA products and services and follow branch operating procedures and compliance requirements.
• Meet individual sales targets and consistently use consultative sales techniques to uncover needs, present solutions, and close opportunities.
• Promote AAA products and services and reinforce the value of Membership to achieve individual and branch goals.
• Anticipate Member needs, recommend relevant solutions, and adapt service to different branch environments.
• Adapt to different branch teams, Member bases, systems, and processes.
• Build cross-functional capability across the seven fundamental skills and growth skills as branch needs require.
• Apply operational processes consistently, support efficient end-to-end workflows, and contribute to branch objectives.
