About The Position

The Member Assist Cart Attendant helps create a positive first and last impression for Sam’s Club members. This active, member-facing role involves retrieving and organizing carts and flatbeds, assisting members with transporting and loading purchases, operating cart retrieval equipment, and keeping the parking lot and exterior areas clean and safe. The attendant provides friendly service, helps members with questions, promotes Sam’s Club products, services, and memberships, and follows safety and merchandise-handling procedures. The position involves working outdoors in all weather conditions and being on your feet for extended periods. This is an opportunity to join the founding team at the new Sam’s Club in Weslaco, Texas, and help establish its member experience and culture. Responsibilities

Maintain a positive attitude by smiling, greeting, and thanking members.
Provide exceptional customer service across the club and answer members’ questions.
Organize carts and flatbeds and maintain their availability for members.
Assist members with transporting and loading purchases into their vehicles.
Operate cart retrieval equipment according to company policies and procedures.
Proactively identify members who need assistance and provide friendly, helpful service.
Maintain parking lot cleanliness and a safe, well-kept exterior environment.
Conduct safety sweeps, follow merchandise-handling procedures, and correct or report unsafe situations to management.
Properly maintain equipment and keep carts and flatbeds organized and stocked in the correct locations.
Promote Sam’s Club products, services, and memberships during member interactions.
Maintain a clean, neat, and member-ready area.
