About The Position

Join the founding team at the new Sam's Club in Weslaco, Texas. Personal Shoppers help members save time by gathering orders quickly, carefully, and accurately, making pickup dependable and convenient. The work includes pulling, scanning, wrapping, and staging items for pickup; promoting Membership benefits and upgrades; following safety procedures; and providing a positive member experience. Associates will help establish the club's culture and member-service standards from its opening. The position offers training and development opportunities and a stated hourly wage range of $17.00 to $25.00, with possible premiums in certain circumstances.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill Fax 'n Pull and Click 'n Pull orders by reviewing orders, pulling items, scanning, wrapping, and palletizing them.
• Ensure order and invoice accuracy and secure items until members arrive for pickup.
• Follow up on out-of-stock merchandise and communicate substitutions to meet member needs.
• Process Memberships, upgrades, and credit accounts, and participate in sales and marketing events.
• Promote Sam's Club products, services, and Membership benefits to help meet Membership goals.
• Acknowledge members, identify their needs, assist with purchasing decisions, and resolve issues and concerns.
• Conduct safety sweeps and follow forklift spotting procedures and hazardous-material handling guidelines.
• Follow company steel standard guidelines and correct and report unsafe situations to management.
